UNPLUGGED with Nouns

Build a compelling app on top of the [Onchain Summer Registry](https://www.base.org/ecosystem), with a focus on discoverability and daily engagement. Sponsored by Fleek and Base.

We’re looking for projects with a strong technical foundation and focus on the problem being addressed. Projects should define future scope and pay attention to developer / user experience. Explain the technical / crypto-economic model of the project. Idea and approach should be relevant to both Fleek and the Onchain Summer Registry.

Tracking user engagement and awareness is crucial for projects because it helps in understanding user behavior, improving user retention, and optimizing the project's growth strategies. It provides insights into what features users find valuable, informs data-driven decisions, and allows for targeted marketing efforts to enhance user acquisition and overall project success.

[Fleek functions](https://fleek.xyz/docs/platform/fleek-functions/) fit perfectly here as one can build simple serverless trackers for various kind of events being triggered onchain and help gather data which is beneficial for teams to grow and products to find PMF. This is just one example, hackers are free to explore here as much as they want.



## Ideas 
**1. Real-Time Analytics:**
  - Instant Data Processing: Edge functions can process user interactions and events in real-time, providing immediate insights into user behavior.
  - Localized Metrics: By processing data closer to the user, edge functions reduce latency and ensure more accurate, localized analytics.


**2. Event-Driven Engagement:**
  - Trigger-Based Actions: Set up edge functions to trigger specific actions based on user events (e.g., sending notifications when a transaction is triggered onchain), keeping users engaged.
  - Dynamic Content Delivery: Automatically adjust and deliver content based on real-time user interactions, maintaining relevance and interest.


**3. Detailed User Profiling:**
  - Behavioral Analysis: Continuously analyze user actions and interactions to build detailed user profiles, helping to understand user preferences and habits better.
  - Segmented Engagement: Use insights from edge-processed data to segment users and tailor engagement strategies to different user groups more effectively.

## Criteria for judging and evaluating projects

2. Project should solve an actual problem
3. The idea and approach should be relevant to Fleek.
4. The project should have a strong technical foundation with focus on discoverability
5. Adequate attention must be paid to the developer/user experience of your project

Discovery Track

Build an onchain game (or minigame), with a focus on fun-first and mainstream adoption. Sponsored by Thirdweb and Base.

Gaming Track

Build an innovative trading/investing experience, with a focus on interesting DeFi primitives and app interoperability. Sponsored by Aerodrome and Synthetix.

Push the boundaries in user experience design as well as financial mechanism design. Below are a few ideas on what to build.

- Build an integration with the perpetual futures markets currently deployed on Base. Some ideas:
  - Perps account vault (e.g. ‘1x long BTC’ ERC-20)
  - Tokenizing funding rates
  - Funding rate arbitrage automation
  - Hybrid order book and AMM perps market
  - Trade/Earn via Frames on Farcaster

- Write a novel implementation of a derivatives market using smart contracts. Some broad categories of market protocols:
  - Prediction Markets
  - Perpetual Futures Markets
  - Spot Markets
  - Options Markets

- Contract settlement with a creative use of oracles, like randomness
- Design and build a personal or business finance application. Here are some user experiences you could create:
  - Users may want to take a position on the value of an asset.
  - Users may want to earn fees collected from markets in exchange for providing liquidity to help fill trades.
  - Users may want to clearly understand the contents and performance of a portfolio.
